Quarto 3

Coimbra, 2023

This project was created as part of the Project 2 - Audiovisual subject, during my second year in the Bachelor's Degree program in Design and Multimedia at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, under the guidance of professors Paul Hardman and João Cunha.

On February 12, 2023, I was admitted to a hospital. "Quarto 3" (Room 3) depicts what was my life for 11 days, in a sick state, dependent on nurses, and unable to leave that one room; and for a few days, without even being able to get out of bed.

The task given to the students was to develop a 1 minute long short film under the theme "a place". The interpretation of the theme could be as broad, abstract or literal as the students intended. However, this project was given to us while I was in the hospital.
